"Spring Petals" is a kiln cast glass art vessel inspired by looking out from my window in early April to see the beginnings of flower petals colorfully populating my garden. Each Spring I am overjoyed by this view.
 
The object is one-of-a-kind. It is sustainably kiln formed from recycled glass. It is then coldworked and sandblasted for a lovely matte finish. Evidence of the making process for the vessel is intentionally left untouched. This is done to show the hand of the artist and allow imperfection to reveal its beauty because nature is both imperfect and beautiful.
